Alfa Romeo 100 years: Milestones of Milan

The 100th Birthday celebrating Alfa Romeo. The Italian brand has seen many ups and downs. A look back on a century of design, speed and emotion. All beginnings are difficult - and this applies also for Alfa Romeo. Before 1910 the first car, the Alfa 24 HP, rolled off, the Italians must overcome some hurdles.

The name Alfa is born

On 24 June 1910 is born the name of Alfa, the abbreviation for "Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili". 1915 takes the engineer Nicola Romeo, the company's management.
